Agreement and Expectations 

• Essay drafts, related notes and conversations between the student and writing coach will remain confidential.
• The length of time required for completing an essay varies based on many factors, including student motivation, time available to complete assignments, and application deadlines. On average, students request approximately 4 – 6 sessions to complete their personal statement.
• Scheduled sessions are approximately 1 hour. Extra time will be granted upon request and if timing allows and will be prorated in 15 minute increments.  
• I am happy to address parental questions and concerns. Although my schedule does not typically allow for unscheduled calls, appointments can be scheduled, and will be prorated and invoiced in 15 minute increments.
• Payments are due upon invoice receipt.
• Session scheduling and all communications will take place between the student and the writing coach, typically via text messages or emails.
• To avoid being charged for missed sessions, 24 hours advance notification is required for cancellation or rescheduling.
• The Greener Biener follows the policies of most major universities in strictly prohibiting the use of AI to draft, outline, or generate content.
• Essay Coaches will not police the use of AI, but expect all work, drafts, and answers to be generated solely by the student.
• All drafts, brainstorming exercises and answers must reflect the student’s own voice and personal stories.
